Google has a track record of its Pixel devices being some of the most leaked hardware ever. The company has not been very successful in keeping its upcoming Pixel phones a secret before they have officially announced, and the trend continues with the upcoming Pixel 8 Pro. Recently, the Pixel 8 Pro appeared on a Google Store page, adding to the ongoing leaks.

On Twitter/X, @Android_Setting revealed a sneak peek of the upcoming Google flagship in Porcelain white. This image, briefly showcased on the Google Store, serves as additional confirmation of the device’s design.

Google Pixel 8 Pro Leaks

Here is the list of some interesting comparisons users have done with pixel phones:

The picture’s style matches the information that was leaked. It shows a glass oval that covers the back cameras lined up in a bar shape. The new single visor holds the reported 50MP main camera, a 64MP ultrawide, and a 48MP telephoto setup. These sit next to the LED flash and an infrared temperature sensor. This sensor lets users measure their body temperature by pointing it at their forehead for a short time. It will also include regular 10.8MP selfie camera.

Anticipated to launch in October, the Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to come in a variety of colors, including Jade, Licorice, Porcelain, and Sky. With a price tag of $999, the Pro version, like the Pixel 8, is expected to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. On the display front, the Pixel 8 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screen with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its performance may be driven by the upcoming Tensor G3 chipset coupled with 12GB RAM and a choice of 128GB or 256GB storage. It is anticipated that the Pixel 8 Pro will offer a sizable 4,950 mAh battery with 27W charging capabilities. Upon unboxing, the device is likely to run on Android 14.
