The new iQOO 12 series is here, and it’s available in China with its specs and prices confirmed. These are the latest flagship phones from iQOO, succeeding the iQOO 11. They use the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The iQOO 12 Pro and iQOO 12 are quite alike with once again partnering with BMW Motorsport, but they differ in their screens and batteries. iQOO is giving the phones a fresh look with a larger rear camera module. The iQOO 12 will be available in India next month with confirmed launch date 12th December.

Stunning Displays
Both the iQOO 12 Pro and iQOO 12 feature a spacious 6.78-inch screen, but they differ in the type of display. The iQOO 12 Pro sports a 2K E7 AMOLED display with a high resolution of 1440×3200 pixels and a super-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It can shine as bright as 3,000 nits in peak mode, ensuring vibrant visuals.
On the other hand, the iQOO 12 comes with a 1.5K LTPO OLED display, offering a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels and the same 144Hz refresh rate. It also reaches an impressive peak brightness of 3000 nits, delivering excellent display quality.
Powerful Performance
Under the hood, both these smartphones are powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4nm process. This ensures snappy performance and efficient power usage, making your everyday tasks and gaming experiences smoother.

Camera Excellence
When it comes to photography, the iQOO 12 Pro and iQOO 12 share identical camera setups. The main camera packs 50 megapixels with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharp and clear photos. There’s also a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom and OIS, perfect for capturing distant subjects. Additionally, a 50MP ultrawide camera lets you take wide-angle shots.
For video enthusiasts, both phones support impressive recording capabilities. You can shoot in 8K at 30fps, 4K at 24/30/60fps, and 1080p at 30/60/120/240fps. Plus, the gyro-Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) ensures your videos are steady and professional-looking. On the front, a 16MP camera handles your selfie needs with gyro-EIS for stable video calls and content creation.
Battery Power
The iQOO 12 Pro boasts a sizable 5,100mAh battery, and it supports rapid charging with a whopping 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W wireless reverse charging.. What’s more, iQOO promises that the battery will still retain at least 80% of its capacity after an impressive 1,600 charging cycles.
For the iQOO 12, you get a 5,000mAh battery with the same super-fast 120W wired charging. Unfortunately, there’s no wireless charging option, but it should keep you powered up throughout the day.
RAM and Storage Options
Both models offer a range of RAM and storage choices to cater to your needs. The iQOO 12 Pro gives you options like 256GB with 16GB of RAM, 512GB with 16GB of RAM, and a whopping 1TB with 16GB of RAM. They all use UFS 4.0 storage for fast performance.
On the other hand, the iQOO 12 comes with configurations of 256GB and 12GB of RAM, 512GB and 16GB of RAM, and the enormous 1TB with 16GB of RAM with UFS 4.0 storage type.
Pricing Details
Both the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro are up for pre-order today and will go on sale on November 14. The iQOO 12 Pro starts at CNY 4,999 for the 16/256GB base model, goes up to CNY 5,499 for the 16/512GB model and tops out at CNY 5,999 for the 16GB/1TB model. The iQOO 12 is CNY 3,999 for the 12/256GB model, CNY 4,299 for the 16/512GB model, and CNY 4,699 for the 16GB/1TB model.
