Nothing’s eagerly awaited third smartphone, known as Nothing (2a), is on the horizon, targeting the mid-range market. Anticipated to make its debut by the end of the upcoming month, the unveiling is expected to take place at MWC 2024 in Barcelona on February 27th.

This exciting revelation was shared in Nothing’s latest quarterly Community Update. Akis Evangelidis, co-founder and marketing lead at Nothing, outlined the primary focus areas for the upcoming device, emphasizing performance, camera capabilities, and software enhancements. Evangelidis assured that Phone (2a) will represent a “clear upgrade compared to Phone (1) on every single front.”

The phone has already made an appearance in a TUV listing, confirming certain specifications retained from Nothing Phone (2). Notably, the listing affirmed a 45W fast charging feature to the Nothing Phone (2a), although it’s suggested that the phone may not include a charger in the package.

According to recent leaks, Phone (2a) will boast a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Dimensity 7200 chipset, the phone will offer configurations with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. On the camera front, Phone (2a) is expected to feature a pair of 50MP cameras on the back. Rumors suggest a launch price around INR 30,000/$400.

Nothing Phone (2a) is set to make its way to India through Flipkart, as officially confirmed by Nothing India on X.com. The phone will be available in Black and White variants, mirroring the options offered for the flagship models. Stay tuned for more updates on this eagerly awaited mid-range smartphone from Nothing.
