The Galaxy S22’s latest One UI 6 update is now available! If you were part of the One UI 6 beta, you might have already received it last week. Samsung has officially rolled out the One UI 6 based on Android 14 for the Galaxy S22 series, including the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The update is gradually reaching devices in European markets, starting with those running Android 13. It’s a substantial update comes with firmware version S908BXXUDWK4 and 3.1 GB in size . Samsung’s latest update, OneUI 6, brings notable design and layout enhancements. The Quick panel has a refreshed look, featuring rearranged buttons such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the top, while Dark mode and Eye comfort shield are now at the bottom. Customization options for quick settings buttons are available in the middle. Swiping down from the top reveals a compact quick panel with notifications, and a second swipe down hides notifications to unveil the expanded quick panel.
The lock screen has been revamped, offering new time font styles and the ability to move the clock to your preferred position. For S22 Series users, updating is easy. Just go to Settings, click on Software Update, and tap Download and Install. If it doesn’t work the first time, don’t worry; major updates are released gradually, so try again later. According to Samsung’s policy, the S22 series will receive OS updates until Android 16.
