OnePlus is set to unveil the OnePlus 12 in China to mark its tenth anniversary before a global release. The official confirmation came via Weibo, a popular Chinese social media platform. The eagerly awaited flagship is scheduled to be revealed on December 4 at 7 PM local time (6 AM ET).

Notably, OnePlus was founded by Pete Lau and Carl Pei in December 2013. The brand will showcase the highly anticipated OnePlus 12 during the upcoming event, with CEO and founder Pete Lau taking the stage. OnePlus hasn’t given a global release date for the new phone yet. The OnePlus 11 was launched in January this year, and its global release followed in February. Since the OnePlus 12 is arriving nearly a month earlier than the previous model, there’s a possibility that the new phone could be available worldwide as early as January 2024.

From the leaks we have, OnePlus 12 is set to feature a spacious 6.7-inch 120Hz QHD+ AMOLED screen, ensuring clear visuals. Powered by the anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, it promises excellent performance, supported by up to 24GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for ample space and power.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, while selfies can be captured with a 32MP front camera. With a robust 5,400 mAh battery supporting fast 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, this smartphone is shaping up to be both capable and convenient for all-day use.
