Poco has finally launched its latest smartphone, the Poco X5 5G, in India, almost a month after the launch of the Poco X5 Pro. The phone comes in two memory variants, 6+128GB and 8+256GB, and three color options, including Supernova Green, Wildcat Blue, and Jaguar Black.
Poco X5 5G Specifications
One of the phone’s highlights is its FHD+ 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, which features a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits of peak brightness, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The Poco X5 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. With this processor, Poco X5 can compete with Poco X5 Pro, Poco X4 Pro, Motorola G73, Redmi note 12, and Realme 10 Pro. The phone runs MIUI 13 based on Android 12 and supports seven 5G bands. It also features a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 48MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, there’s a 13MP selfie camera. The phone also has an IP53 certification and a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Poco X5 5G is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, which can fully charge the phone in just 22 minutes, according to the company.
Poco X5 5G Launch Offers
The phone will go on sale in India for the first time on March 21 at a starting price of Rs 18,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and Rs 20,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. As a launch offer, Poco and Flipkart are offering a Rs 2,000 discount for consumers using ICICI bank cards, as well as an exchange discount of Rs 2000. After the offer period, the price of the phone will increase by INR2,000.
