MediaTek has unveiled the Dimensity 7200 Ultra, succeeding its earlier Dimensity 7200 release. This new chipset is set to power the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Pro+ in China.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra is an octa-core processor built on a 4nm architecture. It supports cameras up to 200MP and records 4K video at 30fps. It can also handle Full HD+ displays with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra features octa-core processor with a configuration of 2x Cortex A715 cores running at 2.8GHz and 6x Cortex A510 cores running at 2.0GHz. It is coupled with the ARM Mali-G610 GPU. It is also equipped with the 5th-generation MediaTek APU 650 to handle AI processing tasks.

Additionally, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will feature a 200MP camera featuring a Samsung ISOCELL sensor, enhanced for improved image clarity and digital zoom capabilities. The ISOCELL HP3 sensor matches the one found in the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, but the upgraded 4nm chipset will enhance processing to elevate the final output quality.

Anticipated in the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series are a total of three phones: the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Xiaomi China’s General Manager, Wang Teng, affirmed through a Weibo post that the Redmi Note 13 Series is set to debut in China later this month.
