The budget-friendly Samsung Galaxy A series is set to welcome a new member, the A25. This upcoming model follows its predecessor, which hit the market in May this year. Early certifications hint at an imminent launch. We’ve got a sneak peek into the A25 through some leaked renders and confirmed specifications. Let’s dive into the details.
The Samsung Galaxy A25 first came into view through leaked CAD-based images in June. Today, we have a fresh batch of renders that seem to be official leaks from Samsung. If these are indeed official, they would provide a more accurate representation of the phone’s appearance compared to the CAD-based images. That said, don’t expect any major surprises in terms of design.

The Galaxy A25, as revealed by Android Headlines, will be available in a palette of colors including Light Blue, Blue-Grey, Lime Green, and Black. A notable change is the introduction of a Light Blue variant, which replaces the Dark Red color from the Galaxy A24 lineup.

The design of the Galaxy A25 aligns with Samsung’s 2023 smartphone aesthetics. It features three vertically arranged camera sensors on the rear and houses all buttons on the right side. The front boasts an Infinity-U notch and bold bezels. The device comes with a 6.44-inch display. Fingerprint sensor is integrated in the power button on the side. The overall dimensions of the phone are 162 x 77.5 x 8.3 mm.
The phone is anticipated to come with a 50MP main camera at the back, a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies, and a big 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W charging. A significant upgrade from the Galaxy A24 is the inclusion of the Exynos 1280 chipset, which offers 5G connectivity and is more efficient than the MediaTek chip found in the Galaxy A24. Recent Geekbench results indicate that the Galaxy A25 is likely to be equipped with 8GB of RAM.
The Galaxy A25 is slated for an early 2024 launch. It will be shipped with Android 14 and One UI 6.1 out of the box. Similar to the Galaxy A24, the Galaxy A25 will also be eligible for four major OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
