Samsung has officially announced Galaxy S23 series at last night’s Galaxy Unpacked event. Like last time, the company has announced three devices in its flagship lineup – Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra.

All the S23 Series phones are powered with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset.

Chip, RAM and Storage
Samsung Galaxy S23 Series is similar to S22 series with some design changes in S22 and S22+ and now 200MP camera for s23 Ultra. The big news for S23 series is with its chipset, Samsung will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for all S23 series phones all over the world. Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ is fixed at 8GB RAM with Storage going from 128GB to 512GB. Whereas Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will have 8GB and 12GB variants with storage options of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.
Camera
Galaxy S23 and S23+ cameras are the same as last year’s Series 50MP Main Camera, 12MP ultra-wide and 10MP telephoto lens. The selfie camera is now upgraded from 10MP to 12MP Camera, which is the same for all phones in S23 Series.
Samsung made a major change in Galaxy S23 Ultra with Main Camera upgraded to 200MP from 108MP. Other lenses remain the same as 12MP ultra-wide and 10MP telephoto lens.
Display
Galaxy Series S23 Phones don’t have many changes on the display side. They have 6.1-inch, 6.6 inch and 6.8 inch for S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra respectively. All the phones have Dynamic AMOLED displays with 120 HZ refresh rate. Galaxy S23 and S23+ have 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution while S23 Ultra has 1440 x 3088 pixels. Galaxy S23 Ultra has 1,750 nits of peak brightness.
Battery
Batteries on Galaxy S23 and S23+ are bigger (200mAh larger) as compared to their predecessors with 3,900mAh and 4,700mAh respectively. S23 offers 25W wired charging and S23+ 45W. Galaxy S23 Ultra has the same 5000mAh battery (as last year) with 45W wired charging speed.
Colors and Pricing
