Samsung has finished testing the new OneUI 6 software, and today they’ve begun releasing the official version of OneUI 6, which is based on Android 14. This update is initially available for the Samsung S23 Series, including the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Other Samsung devices will gradually receive the OneUI 6 update in the coming weeks or months.

Samsung’s latest update comes with some design and layout changes. In the Quick panel, you’ll find new button arrangements, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth buttons at the top and features like Dark mode and Eye comfort shield now at the bottom. You can customize other quick settings buttons in the middle.
When you swipe down from the top of your screen, you’ll see a compact quick panel with notifications. Swiping down again hides notifications and reveals the expanded quick panel.
The lock screen has also been updated, offering new time font styles and allowing you to move the clock to your preferred position. OneUI 6 introduces a new default font, and there are various changes in the gallery, camera, widgets, and photo editor. Explore OneUI 6 features in detail to gain a comprehensive understanding.
This update is approximately 3 GB in size. If you’re using a Samsung Galaxy S23 Series device, you can access it through your settings by going to ‘Software update’ to explore all the new features.
