Tecno Phantom V Fold introduced, a cheap foldable

Tecno has just launched its first foldable phone, the Tecno Phantom V Fold, at the MWC 2023. This big folding phone offers a bigger display. it is not as big as the Honor’s recently launched Magic Vs but it is still quite a bit bigger than the display on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Cover And Fold Display

The Tecno Phantom V Fold has a cover display that is a regularly wide 6.42-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, with a resolution of 1080x2550px and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display can drop down to 10Hz, which is useful for conserving battery life. The folding screen, on the other hand, is a bigger 7.85-inch 2000x2296px panel with a 120Hz LTPO display. Tecno has also made it clear that its outer screen has a more usable aspect ratio of 21:9.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold comes with three cameras on the back – a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 2x zoom camera, and a 13MP ultrawide camera. The selfie cameras are a 32MP on the cover screen, and a 16MP on the inner screen.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold packs the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+, a 4nm chipset that is also found in the Oppo Find N2 Flip. It matches the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 that powers the Galaxy Z Fold4. The phone runs on HiOS based on Android 13. Phone’s weight is 299g.

It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W of wired charging (no wireless option). According to Tecno, the Phantom V Fold can recharge 40% in just 15 minutes, and go on to a full charge in 55 minutes. This means that users can expect to use the phone for extended periods without having to worry about running out of battery life.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold also comes with a fingerprint scanner, which has been added to the power button. There are stereo speakers on the sides.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold will be available in India first, starting at INR 89,999 for the 12/256GB model and INR 99,999 for the 12/512GB model. Tecno will run a special early bird offer, starting at INR 79,999. The phone will be available in leather-style black and white options.
