In November, the Chinese tech giant vivo released its new vivo X100 series in China. The international release of its flagship smartphone, the X100 Pro, has been gradual but steady. After its global debut a month later, it recently became available in India. Now, three months down the line, the X100 series has also reached Europe and users are already using our smartphone comparison tool for various comparisons.
Initial information indicates that the phone will be available in two markets – Austria and the Czech Republic at start. While the vivo X100 series is not currently featured on any of vivo’s European websites, pricing details have been disclosed (as reported by Notebookcheck). The X100 Pro is set to be priced at €1,199.
The cost is higher than expected. When the vivo X100 was introduced globally and launched in India, its price in India translated into €999. However, in Europe, the prices are a bit higher, even though the phones have identical features. This difference is influenced by factors like taxes and logistics.
The X100 Pro is available in a single version, featuring the Asteroid Black color. It boasts 16GB of RAM and a generous 512GB of storage. This version is powered by MediaTek’s most robust flagship chip Dimensity 9300, particularly noteworthy for its impressive all-big-core CPU.
The phone features a large 6.78-inch 120 HZ LTPO AMOLED screen, boasting a 1260×2800 resolution and a 3,000-nit peak brightness. Its camera system includes a triple rear setup with a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, and a 50 MP 4.3x optical zoom periscope with OIS.
In the battery department, it is equipped with a powerful 5,400 mAh battery that supports – 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phone runs on Android 14 with Funtouch 14 overlay.
