As of the present moment, Xiaomi has introduced its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, in the Chinese market. These devices are equipped with Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8Gen 3 chipset, enhanced Leica-branded primary cameras, a fresh design, and Xiaomi’s new HyperOS, which serves as a replacement for Xiaomi’s former MiUI. A global launch (excluding the US market) is likely to follow shortly after the Chinese release.

Design:
The Xiaomi 14 Pro introduces a design departure from its predecessor, opting for a flat metal side instead of curved edges. The frame is finished with a glossy, mirrored surface, giving it a touch of elegance. With a symmetrical design and subtly tapered glass panels at the edges, it’s a visual delight.
The Xiaomi 14 follows suit with the same symmetrical design, maintaining the flat-sided frame and angular corners that were introduced with the Xiaomi 13.

Display:
Both devices feature stunning displays. The Xiaomi 14 boasts a 6.36-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 3,000 nits. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Pro offers a 6.73-inch 12-bit LTPO OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and the same remarkable 3,000 nits peak brightness.
Performance:
Under the hood, both smartphones are powered by the 4nm-based Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring top-notch performance in any task or application.
Camera:
Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro share a similar camera setup. They both feature a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.2X optical zoom and OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP front camera, promising exceptional photography experiences.
Battery:
The Xiaomi 14 is equipped with a 4,610mAh battery, supporting up to 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 14 Pro boasts a larger 4,880mAh battery with up to 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities.
RAM and Storage Options:
You’ll have plenty of choices for RAM and storage configurations. The Xiaomi 14 offers options from 8GB to 16GB of RAM with storage ranging from 256GB to a whopping 1TB, all using the fast UFS 4.0 storage type. The Xiaomi 14 Pro provides 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB, also with UFS 4.0 storage.
Additional Features:
Both the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro come with IP68 dust and water resistance, ensuring durability. However, the Xiaomi 14 Pro takes things a step further with its front glass covered by Xiaomi Longjing Glass.
Color Options:
Express your style with various color choices. The Xiaomi 14 offers Black, Silver, Titanium, and Green options, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro adds a Titanium Special Edition to its lineup, alongside Black, White, and Rock Green.
Pricing:
The Xiaomi 14, is now available for pre-order, and prices begin at CNY 3,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model, going up to CNY 4,999 (for the high-end 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant. As for the Xiaomi 14 Pro, it’s also open for pre-orders in China, with pricing ranging from CNY 4,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model to CNY 5,999 for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage option.
